ABOUT THE CUA
HURLING CLUB
Established in the fall of 2014 as a branch of the CUA Gaels Irish Culture Club, the CUA Hurling Club (formally known as the Brookland Gaels) has been the face of collegiate hurling the DC metro area.
We offer college students of the Catholic University of America the opportunity to learn the skills of Ireland's National sport of Hurling and compete in both NCGAA and non-NCGAA tournaments during both the fall and spring semesters.

In addition to learning and playing a new and very exciting sport, CUA Hurling give its players the knowledge sport of hurling and exposure to the culture of the GAA. This knowledge and exposure will give each player, upon the conclusion of their collegiate career, access to the global community and vast network of the GAA with which they can be a part of for the rest of their lives.
